This fundraising event begins at 11:30 a.m. at Desert Horizons Country Club in Indian Wells with a Wine Reception, followed by the luncheon at 12 noon.   Local Celebrities will be judging the hats designed and modeled by the members and their guests, with prizes being awarded for the most beautiful, funniest, most creative, and most unusual hats.

– December 9, 2012 - Palm Springs, California - Jewish Family Service of the Desert hosted its Tenth Annual PATRON PARTY at the stunning contemporary residence of Mike and Bobbi Resmo on the evening of Thursday, December 6th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  This not-to-be-missed season opener attracted 160 elegantly attired guests, who enjoyed the cocktail supper, special guest speakers, as well as the entertainment that evening.   A minimum donation of $ 1,000 to Jewish Family Service of the Desert was required to attend this event.

Held at the Hyatt Regency in Huntington Beach, California, Scott Kavanaugh, Chief Executive Officer of First Foundation, Inc., welcomed the overflow crowd and touched on the firm's accomplishments this past year, and where the company is headed next year. The event was a review of the year's market trends and a forecast of the upcoming year's potential market performance. August 30, 2011 – Santa Ana,  California –  Over 100 people in need were served a nutritious lunch by three generations of the Dominic Corea family, owners of the legendary ROMA  D’  ITALIA ITALIAN RESTAURANT AND PIZZA.    82 year old Matriarch Nina Corea, along with her two daughters, Tina Rossetti and Teresa Golka, second generation owners, and grandchildren  Alfio Rossetti, Victoria Rossetti, and Anna Golka, representing the third generation of ownership, were on hand at the Smeda Soup Kitchen in downtown Santa Ana to serve lunch.

On Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 7:00 p.m., College of the Desert Foundation hosted “One Enchanted Evening IV.” This annual fundraising benefit, which is College of the Desert Foundation’s primary fundraising event of the season, was performed on stage at the McCallum Theatre.  Some of the most talented performers from throughout the Valley performed in this Show, including Alumni from past College of the Desert musical productions.

- The American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Foundation's fourth annual Paws For Cures Benefit was a huge success. Over 200 guests were in attendance and all proceeds raised at this event benefited the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) Foundation’s Grant Program, which supports studies in the areas of small and large animal internal medicine, oncology, neurology, and cardiology, aimed at finding new ways of treating, diagnosing, and preventing diseases and illness in animals.
